Young people are navigating gender and identity in increasingly visible and complex ways. For many carers, it can feel hard to know what to say, what matters most, or how to respond in a way that supports your child without getting it “wrong.”This short Gamechangers League session offers practical, evidence-informed insights into how young people experience identity, belonging, and safety — including for those who are neurodivergent.
We’ll share in open conversation what we see, what actually helps young people feel supported, and how small, everyday responses from adults can make a big difference.
We are fortunate to have some young adults with lived experience of gender and sexuality questioning who are available to give a teen perspective of the impact of parental support.
Come along for a relaxed, respectful conversation. Questions are welcome, please forward your questions prior to the session to make sure we cover your area of interest.
