Supersonic Festival are incredibly excited to once again welcome back underground legends Deerhoof to Birmingham on Thursday 24 July 2025 at the Castle & Falcon. The fiercely DIY band have been producing avant-garde carnivals since their humble beginnings as an obscure San Francisco noise act. They’ve become one of indie music’s most influential bands with their ecstatic and unruly take on pop where Satomi Matsuzaki plays bass and sings, Greg Saunier plays drums, John Dieterich and Ed Rodriguez play guitars. They’ll be bringing their joyous Deerhoofian nuggets of melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic gold to the Castle & Falcon and we cannot wait.
