Calling Seattle area burners & flow artists!I’d love to gather energy around forming a Seattle-based fire conclave for Burning Man.
My first burn was in 2015, and I’ve been spinning fire since 2017.
Since then I've performed often, joining Ember Arts Fire to perform in fire conclave at the Burn in 2024.
After a burn sharing the flame with campmates, I want to help create a local group that can train, choreograph, and (safely!) bring the heat to Black Rock City as Seattle’s own fire camp.
This call is for anyone: seasoned spinners, flow artists, or folks just beginning who feel the spark.
The idea is to meet up regularly (thinking Gas Works Park) to practice, share skills, and build toward a performance submission.
I can teach intermediate dragon and basics with contact, poi, fans, and palm torches, but I’m especially excited to learn from the incredible flow talent already here in Seattle.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of fire conclave—or just want to help grow a fire community here—this is the moment. Let’s set Seattle ablaze (safely, of course) and show BRC that we’re lit.
