Looking for something easy, social, and actually fun to do on a Saturday?
We’re taking Adventure Calgary to Super Smash Cafe for a relaxed gaming hangout where you can drop in, meet new people, play a bunch of games, grab food, and settle into whatever level of competition or casual chaos feels right.
They’ve got a big mix of games, from newer stuff like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Ultimate, Mario Party, Tekken, FIFA, Fortnite, Rocket League, Call of Duty, NBA 2K, NHL, Rock Band, Risk, Monopoly, Scrabble, Tetris, and more, plus retro systems like GameCube, Wii, Nintendo 64, Xbox 360, arcade simulators, vintage games, and board/card games.
No pressure to be “good” at anything. You can jump into multiplayer games, play something casual, watch for a bit, chat with people, or just use it as an easy way to meet others without the awkward stand-around-and-small-talk thing.
They also have food and drinks available FOR PURCHASE (not included in your ticket price) if you want lunch while you’re there, including burgers, wraps, fish and chips, fries, shrimp tempura, spring rolls, dumplings, steamed buns, rice meals, coffee, bubble tea, milk tea, desserts, and snacks. If you plan to order food, please include your desired menu item in the 'Notes to Host' when submitting your RSVP on our site at least 48 hours before the event.
Two ticket options:
$20 — 2 Hour Pass
Come hang out, play games, meet people, and stay for a couple hours.
$25 — All Day Pass
Best value if you want to settle in, play longer, grab food, and make an afternoon of it.
This is a good fit whether you’re new to Calgary, want to expand your social circle, love games, haven’t played in years, or just want a low-pressure excuse to get out of the house.
Tickets are only available through Adventure Calgary and MUST BE BOUGHT IN ADVANCE.
Parking is VERY LIMITED; please consider taxiing, car pooling, or public transit.
