Free Community Art & Wellness Experience
Join LOUD Art Society for Kites in Motion, a free, family-friendly arts and wellness experience in downtown Calgary. This participatory event invites people of all ages to explore creativity, connection, and joy through hands-on kite-making in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
✨ What to Expect
Design Your Own Kite
Create a personalized kite using pre-cut templates, paints, markers, and eco-friendly materials.
Message in the Sky
Add a meaningful message, hope, or affirmation to your kite. Reflect on what you want to release or invite into your life.
Kite Journaling Corner
Take a moment to reflect through writing or drawing. Share your thoughts on our community message wall if you wish.
Mini Kite Station
A simplified, accessible option for young children or those who prefer a smaller activity.
Community Clean-Up Circle
We’ll close the day with a collective clean-up, reinforcing care for our shared spaces and environment.
