Would you like to tune into nature? Let go of stress? Unwind and relax?
Join us for a journey among the beautiful trees of Salcey, once part of a medieval royal hunting forest, and still home to ancient oaks. Our sessions are designed to gradually calm body and mind, with sensory activities carefully chosen to help you move from 'doing' to 'being' - all while exploring nature's seasonal highlights. Our guided 'treelaxation' will help soothe away stress, and you'll leave with tips and tools you can use any time to help give you a mental and physical boost.
Your guide will be Liz Burfield, who trained as a forest bathing guide having experienced first-hand the benefits of mindfulness and nature on depression and anxiety. Her sessions are friendly, down to earth, and suitable for anyone who enjoys being outdoors.

HELPFUL TO KNOW:
- For Forestry England members with a discount code: when you click on 'Get tickets' a pop-up window will open. Please use the 'promo code' box at the top of this window to enter your code and then click 'apply' BEFORE proceeding to checkout.
- Parking: parking at Salcey is free for Forestry England members. For non-Forestry England members - to save on the normal cost of £8.50/£9, please ensure you pre-book your parking with us when buying your ticket. You will then be able to park either all day (term time weekdays) or for up to an hour after the finish time for your session (weekends and holidays) for just £3.80, giving you the chance to enjoy a more time in the woods or a snack at the cafe during your visit!

Your booking confirmation email will contain a link to a registration form, plus all the details about where to meet, what to wear and bring etc - please read it carefully and complete the form as soon as possible. We will also send you a reminder closer to the event!
