SUMMER BBQ & FUNDRAISING EVENT – SATURDAY 18TH JULY
Join us for a community Summer BBQ and fundraising event at The George Inn, raising vital funds for Northamptonshire Mind.

This event is especially meaningful to me. Having struggled with my own mental health from a young age, I also lost my younger brother, Sam, in 2023.
Through this fundraiser, I hope to raise awareness and support for others facing similar challenges.
Northamptonshire Mind provides essential mental health support across our local communities, helping people on their journey towards recovery and wellbeing.
The need for mental health support has never been greater. We are currently facing what many charities describe as a “triple squeeze”: increasing demand for services, rising operational costs, and reduced funding. Nationally, mental health services receive only around 9% of health spending, despite accounting for approximately 24% of overall demand. Anxiety is now one of the UK’s most common mental health challenges, with 37.1% of women and 29.9% of men reporting high levels.
This is a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together, support local businesses, and make a difference.
CAN YOU HELP?
We are currently seeking raffle prize donations from local businesses and the community. Prizes could include vouchers, hampers, or services. All donations will be gratefully acknowledged both online and at the event.
