Sound & Sand Society: Open-Air House Session!
We're officially back on the sand March 21st for our signature monthly gathering.
This month, we we're brining the heat with a packed showcase of Afro-House rhythms, melodic grooves, and the best community in San Diego dancing into the golden hour. We are bringing the Society together for an event that you don't want to miss! We're also continuing our mission to support our local neighbors.
Join our lush, open-air sanctuary designed for connection and movement. Expect connection, fun, and a sunset that bleeds into the city
COMMUNITY DRIVE: HELPING OUR NEIGHBORS
The Music Brings Us Together, The Community Keeps Us Strong.
For this event, we are continuing to the Alpha Project, a local organization dedicated to helping the homeless in San Diego. We are collecting essential items that will be dropped off at their donation center to help our neighbors get back on their feet.
How You Can Help:
We will have a donation bin set up at the event entrance. If you have extra items at home, please consider bringing them along.
WISH LIST
Clothing: Coats, socks, undergarments, and casual wear in good condition.
Comfort: Towels, blankets, twin sheets, and pillows.
Essentials: Unused hygiene products and books.
Contributions are optional but highly appreciated.
POTLUCK & BONFIRE
Bring a Dish: Share snacks, cookies, or drinks at our communal table.
Bring Firewood: The bonfire is back! Please bring any extra wood to contribute to the warmth. The bonfire will start at 7pm.
RSVP & SUPPORT
Instead of a ticket, an RSVP is strictly required to receive the exact meeting point. Your support keeps the music playing.
General RSVP (Free) - You must claim this ticket to receive the exact park coordinates and parking directions on the morning
Society Supporter ($5 - $10 Donation) - Sound & Sand is a community-driven movement. Grabbing a supporter ticket directly funds the collective, the media team, and helps keep these park sessions alive.
Capacity is strictly limited. Once RSVPs hit the cap, the list will close.
IMPORTANT LOGISTICS
🌵 DRESS CODE: "Desert Spring / Golden Hour"
Winter is over. Bring out the spring aesthetics.
• The Look: Earth tones, neutrals, flowy fabrics, matching sets, and your best sunglasses.
• The Function: It will be beautiful at 3:00 PM, but the ocean breeze kicks in right at 5:30 PM. Bring a light jacket or stylish layer for when the sun dips. Look good, stay comfortable.
BYOB & Leave No Trace
Pack your coolers with what you like to drink. Please pack out what you pack in—we respect the land we dance on.
