Sunday Tea Time - Painting to Music Class

Discover your creativity in this painting to music session in London, a gentle activity designed to help you return to presence and connect through brush strokes, rhythm, and creative flow. No art experience is needed for this workshop, suitable for all level, it's a lovely tool to enhance your wellbeing. We’ll be using acrylic paint on square canvas, with curated jazz music and guidance, and yes, you’ll be able to take your artwork home with you :)

If you often tell yourself, "I can’t even draw a straight line, " this is the perfect space for you! This class isn't about achieving neat or 'correct' brush strokes. Instead, you'll learn how to simply be in the present – understanding that wiggly and expressive is more than welcome!

You’ll explore the meditative and expressive power of painting as a unique activity. Learn how to focus on each stroke, the motion of your hand, and the texture of your feelings as they begin to take form on the canvas, resulting in a painting you’ll take home – a personal artifact of the present moment as a form of art journaling.

Any concerns about perfectionism or fear of mistakes can be gently addressed. In this supportive environment, you’ll be encouraged to celebrate any 'happy mistakes' (think Bob Ross vibes!) and will have the opportunity to reflect through journaling on the little lessons in self-growth that each stroke can reveal.

You will learn how to embrace the entire painting process without pressure. This class offers an uplifting experience, helping you connect with your inner self through the simple act of painting.

Knowledge required:

Beginner-friendly! No art skills required, I will guide you step by step. This is an introductory class, with a limited slot of 10 participants. You can continue this method continuously in 1 on 1 coaching session with me, addressing different topics and expanding the mediums.

What to bring

Come as you are :) If you wish, you can also bring your personal journal to write your reflection, but writing paper is also provided.
