Burgh House presents Sunday Sounds, our recital series showcasing emerging musicians.
Taso Kipiani is a classical pianist, born in 2000 in Tbilisi, Georgia. She began her musical studies at the age of five at Z. Paliashvili Central Music School in Tbilisi.
Taso is a graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, finishing with a first class honours. She studied under the guidance of Professors Mikhail Kazakevich and Sergio de Simone. Taso was the recipient of the Beverley Creed Scholarship, the NOSWAD Scholarship and the Trinity College Scholarship.
Over the years, Taso has drawn inspiration from lessons and masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists and teachers such as Pascal Rogé, Min Kwon, Hiroaki Takenouchi, Shuhua Chen, Lei Weng, Can Çakmur and others. Taso regularly performs in venues all across London and the UK, as well as, several places in Europe and internationally. Some of the appearances have been in venues including the Chapel of St. Peter and St. Paul, Royal Academy of Art, St. Mary Le Bow, St. Brides Church, St. Dunstan in the West, Morden College, Bushy House Teddington and Waltham Abbey.
