Mary Ardery is the author of Level Watch (June Road Press), a poetry collection based on her experience as a wilderness guide for women in a substance-abuse treatment program near Asheville, North Carolina. Her poems appear in Beloit Poetry Journal, Best New Poets, Poet Lore, Prairie Schooner, RHINO, and elsewhere. She earned an MFA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she won an Academy of American Poets Prize. The recipient of a Lifelong Arts Fellowship from the Indiana Arts Commission, she was born and raised in Bloomington and now lives in West Lafayette, Indiana.Donna Vorreyer is the author of four full-length poetry collections: Unrivered ( 2025), To Everything There Is (2020), Every Love Story is an Apocalypse Story (2016) and A House of Many Windows (2013), all from Sundress Publications. Recent work has appeared in Ploughshares, Pleiades, Poet Lore, Colorado Review, Harpur Palate, Baltimore Review, Salamander, and many other journals. Donna lives in the western suburbs of Chicago and runs the online reading series A Hundred Pitchers of Honey. She is the co-founder/co-editor of Asterales: A Journal of Arts & Letters.
Chicago-based transnational writer and musician Snežana Žabić is the author of the hybrid memoir Broken Records, and the poetry collections Po(eat)ry (co-written with Ivana Percl), The Breath Capital, and Concrete Is More Beautiful Disfigured and Stained. She plays guitar, writes songs, and sings in Rent Party, everyone’s favorite feminist garage folk band. She teaches writing and literature as a part of the contingent academic workforce and has been a proud union member of UIC GEO, SEIU Faculty Forward, and UIC United Faculty.
