About the class
Join us for a peaceful Sunday Morning Meditation at Balanced Being. The class will begin at 8:30AM and last 1 hour. Ideal for those who have never meditated before or those looking to develop a more consistent and powerful practice. Each class begins and ends with meditation. The middle part will be discussion on subjects like mindfulness, detachment, and personal power.
About the teacher
Ananda is a Buddhist initiate and meditation teacher. He has been engaged in a disciplined meditation practice for over 5 years . He enjoys making meditation accessible to people of different cultural and religious backgrounds. His particular focus is helping students integrate meditation and mindfulness into their daily lives.
Practical details
The meditation studio is upstairs at Balanced Being Yoga and Wellness in Lower Greenville. The studio entrance may be hard to see. The entrance is below the "Sugaring NYC" sign and sandwiched in between "Feng Cha" and "Abby's Bagels". We will provide mats and pillows (zafus), so nothing for you to bring. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes.
