They’re young…they’re in love…and they K*ll people. Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty star as the titular lovers on the run, robbing banks and staying one step ahead of the law in Depression-era Texas, forming a makeshift gang as they go along, riding high on stolen cars and cash, living it up despite the road ahead being shorter than the one behind.
A blockbuster hit in its day, this stylish tale of youthful antiheroes connected with the counterculture, leading to a wave of late 60s/early 70s throwback gangster films. With Michael J. Pollard, Gene Wilder, Estelle Parsons, Denver Pyle, and Gene Hackman as Clyde’s brother, Buck.
