The Dark Knight.On Friday and Saturday, June 20-21, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater celebrates The Winged Avenger with THE MANY FACES OF BATMAN, featuring four of his filmic faces on 35mm, along with a toy market and a 1989 Batmobile in person!
Batman begins on Friday night with the first full-color big-screen outing for the character, featuring Adam West as The Dark Avenger in a campy pop explosion that brings the hit TV series to the giant outdoor screen, in BATMAN: THE MOVIE (1966), featuring a rogues gallery of his greatest foes! Then, Michael Keaton dons the cape and cowl in Tim Burton’s blockbuster BATMAN (1989), up against Jack Nicholson’s Joker!
Saturday night brings us into the 90s with the animated outgrowth of the hit TV cartoon series, BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM, featuring Kevin Conroy as the voice of The Masked Manhunter, with an all-star cast of friends and foes! We end the evening with Christian Bale as The Bat, in Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT, featuring Heath Ledger as a Joker for a new generation!
Gates open at 5pm for our retro toy market featuring The Big Kid Store, and your chance to get a photo with the iconic 1989 Batmobile!
Arrive early for themed eats, raffles, a live DJ set and more fun.
