What is Sundaes Outside series?
Sundaes Outside: A Celebration of Black Folks is an event series celebrating nature, the Black community, and their various skills, artistry, talents, cuisines, cultural practices, and influences. Sunday family gatherings have been a staple in the Black community- from church to family dinners, and so much more. Sundaes Outside Series uses this day of relaxation and celebration to uplift Black contributions outdoors.
Who is Sundaes Outside for?
Sundaes Outside is for you if you:
- Are a Black person that wants to build community with other Black people and allies.
- Are a non-black person that respects, supports, and wants to build community with Black people and other allies.
- Want to celebrate the contributions of Black people.

What can you expect at Sundaes Outside?
Expect a celebration! Get to know local Black businesses and organizations, while enjoying the breadth of creativity from our highlighted guests and ice cream social with the Golden Bricks Events team.
Enjoy powerful live performances, hands-on workshops, community partners, and space to simply be — whether that means dancing, painting, learning, or lounging in the grass.
Event Details
- Our event will be held at Be'er Sheva Park Cultural Stage, near the playground and basketball courts. Look for signs!
- Parking is available (parking lot & street parking), including accessible parking spaces . To access the space, there are flat paved paths.
- There will be a Golden Bricks Events table (yellow tablecloth) should anyone have any emergencies. Please use this tent as a resource in case of an emergency or if you should have any issues.
- The event area consists of flat and sloped terrain with grass.
- Park bathrooms will be open during the event, including ADA-accessible stalls.
- Folding chairs will be stationed throughout the event space but feel free to bring your own seating and picnics!
- There will be loud music at this event.
- Riding the bus? Bus #7 will take you straight to Be'er Sheva Park. Bus #107 requires a short walk to Be'er Sheva Park.
- Win some swag! Be sure to fill out our post-event survey at the event! Details will be sent to participants who register via Eventbrite. Be on the lookout for QR codes to survey at the event.
