Sun Printing for Arty Kids

Get ready for a super fun in-person workshop where kids aged 6 -10 can explore the magic of sun printing! Our $10 workshop uses the sun to create cool, one-of-a-kind prints on special paper. Perfect for sparking creativity and enjoying some hands-on nature and art time, with or without parental support. Bring your imagination and get ready to make some awesome sunny masterpieces (even if it rains!). All materials supplied.

Info: Fiona and Mary Ann and Lynda will introduce themselves and ask children to tell everyone their first name and be given a name sticker. Fiona will show some examples of sun prints and then do a small one ---placing nature objects onto the prepared sun print paper. The paper will then be exposed to the sunlight outside for 5 mins. after this the sun print will be washed in water to show its true colour. Then the group will be assisted to make the first A5 size sun print. We hope everyone will be able to make 4 prints to take home. Parents do not need to be present to supervise their children, unless they wish to be present.
