About this Event
Dip your toe into alternative photography. This is the first of 3 workshops run by Camden experimental photographic artist Catriona Gray at the wonderful Old Diorama Arts Centre. Ditch your phone, your computer and your digital camera and come and make an image by hand.
You'll get the chance to try out different reactions on retro darkroom photographic paper and film when you play around with plants and sunlight, placing the plants on the paper.
This workshop is designed to be mindful, to slow down, let go of control and notice natural beauty in an urban environment.
By the end of the workshop you will have made several small prints that you can either take home or choose to include in a small exhibition at Old Diorama at the end of the course.
