I BFD nascono nel 2024 dalla collaborazione tra Matteo Bracaglia (ex SPIRITUAL BATS & ATMOSPHERE 0) alla voce e Silvio Viscogliosi (Ressole Studio, ex Luis XIV) al basso, ai quali si aggiunge presto Fabiano Gagliano (SACRED LEGION & CHANTS OF MALDOROR) alla chitarra. Lo stile della band si indirizza decisamente verso aggressive sonorità Deathrock e “dark rock”, ma senza mai abbandonare la ricerca melodica.
Nell’Aprile del 2025 i Back for Death pubblicano il loro esordio, nella forma di una cassetta autoprodotta limitatata a 33 copie numerate, contenente quattro brani, e realizzano in seguito due videoclip, per le canzoni “Arkane” e “Black Stigma”.
