Summer Solstice 2024- Typically, the date of the summer solstice rotates between the 20th and the 21st June, and this year the summer solstice will take place in the UK on Thursday 20th June 2024. This is the day when the Sun's annual journey through the constellations of the zodiac carries it to its most northerly point in the sky, in the constellation of Cancer at a declination of 23.5°N.
We will be hosting our walk on the Friday evening.
This moderate paced walk will loop around the forest and take in Old Pale Hill .
The cost of this walk is £2 per person and capped to 60 spaces for safety reasons.
