This workshop is suitable for anyone with basic sewing skills and involves some work at home which reduces the cost.Week 1. Tuesday 25 June.
Bring your clothing or fabric and cut into shapes using the templates provided.
Week 2. Tuesday 2 July.
Learn how to sew your cut pieces to make a square (finish the other squares at home). You will need to make at least 9 large patchwork squares.
Week 3. Tuesday 9 July
Join your completed squares together, then Quilt a padded backing. You may have to finish this at home.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to learn how to do basic patchwork and quilting. You will make a Quilt approximately 1 metre square. You may need to do some sewing at home.
You will need to bring clothing or fabric.
Refreshments and home made cake are provided.
The cost is £90 for the three week workshop.
