About this Event
Sound & Gong Bath with Alicia Chasteau
Friday 19 June
6.30–8.00pm
At Open Ealing. Ealing Broadway
Join us for a nourishing Summer Solstice evening of rest, reflection and sound with restorative yoga teacher and sound practitioner Alicia Chasteau.
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and has long been recognised across many cultures as a time of transition, energy and renewal. While summer can bring brightness, activity and outward energy, it can also be a powerful reminder of the importance of slowing down and creating moments of intentional rest.
Sound can be especially supportive during seasonal transitions, helping the body and mind process change, regulate the nervous system and create space to pause and reconnect. The vibrations of crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes and gentle percussion can support deep relaxation, helping many people feel more grounded, calm and present.
During this session, you will be invited to lie down, get comfortable and simply rest while being immersed in sound. This is an opportunity to slow down, soften and take a moment for yourself as we move into the height of summer.
You will also receive optional Summer Solstice journalling prompts to support reflection, gratitude and intention setting for the next half of the year. A gentle opportunity to pause and check in with where you are, what you want to nurture and what you want to move towards.
After the session, you are welcome to stay for a cup of herbal tea and a quiet moment before heading back into the evening.
