NEW Summer Nature Camp at Cedar Ridge Preserve
Starting in July, you'll be able to join any of the weeks for a 1-week camp from Monday to Friday. It starts at 8am and finishes around noon. Aftercamp care is provided from noon to 2pm for an additional fee. At the camp, kids will be busy hiking, catching bugs, checking out the wildflowers, and studying topics such as birds, snakes, lizards, amphibians, bugs, plants, and more.
Each class will have a max of 20 kids and the camp will be led by an experienced teacher with first aid and cpr certification. We'll also have assistant camp counselors and volunteers helping out making sure campgoers are safe and having a good time. You'll also have me, Sergio Vargas the programs manager, facilitating the camp and making sure we have everything we need for the summer.
Lots of this camp will be built on all of our previous programs and junior ranger expeditions that we've organized over the last few years. So, if you've missed out and you want a week loaded with learning and fun discoveries then this probably be the camp for your family.
