Whether you’re here to meet new friends, watch the best movie ever created, or simply treat yourself, this event is designed to help you honour your unique vibes in a supportive space.
What’s Happening:
- Shrek in the Queen Room: Relax with a platter of treats while enjoying the iconic Shrek movie in our cozy indoor space.
- Outdoor Connection & Chats: Head outside to mingle in the fresh air, share laughs, and connect with others in a chilled-out setting.
- Creative Cookie Decorating: Tap into your inner artist as you decorate sugar cookies with provided materials—no experience necessary!
This workshop is a celebration of self-love and community, especially for queer and neurodivergent individuals. Participation is flexible—whether you’re chatting with others, decorating cookies, or just soaking up the atmosphere, you’re welcome to engage in whatever way feels right for you.
This is an all ages event however, young people under 12 must be supervised by a parent or carer.

1. I’m feeling anxious—what do I do?
Be brave and rock up! This event is designed to be a relaxed and welcoming space. You can participate in whatever way feels comfortable, whether that’s chatting with others, decorating cookies, or watching the best movie in the world. There’s no pressure to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
2. Can I come alone?
Of course! Many people come to events like this solo, and it’s a great way to meet others. If you’d prefer to keep to yourself, that’s fine too. We’ll make sure you feel welcomed, whether you’re here to socialise or just enjoy some quiet movie time.
3. Do I need to bring anything?
Nope! Everything will be provided, including cookies, decorating supplies, and all the good vibes. Just bring yourself!
4. Can you invoice this to my NDIS plan?
If it aligns with your goals - can do! Just reach out and let me know the invoicing details such as plan manager and email address to send the invoice too.
8. What if I’m running late or need to leave early?
That’s totally fine! This is a casual event, so you’re welcome to come and go as you need.
9. What should I wear?
Whatever you’re comfortable in! I don't think I've ever had participants care/value looks and judge people like that.
10. Can I bring my support worker?
Yes, please do! Just let us know if you’re bringing someone along so we can make sure there’s enough space and materials.
