Learning Objectives for the Workshop:
- Safely apply Vacuum-Assisted Closure (V.A.C.) and Veraflo Therapy techniques.
- Identify and select suitable cases for the application of V.A.C. and Veraflo Therapy.
- Achieve proficiency in dressing wounds that present complex challenges or are situated in anatomically difficult regions.
- Exhibit the capacity to troubleshoot and utilize Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) equipment effectively.
- Choose the correct NPWT dressings and complementary adjunct dressings for various wound types.
- Gain an understanding of the available resources and tools that highlight best practices supported by clinical evidence.
