Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating Sudanese culture, resilience, and community. Hosted by Ikhlas Mohammed and inspired by her mother, Magboula Yousif—affectionately known as Nanna—this event brings together traditional cuisine, personal storytelling, and immersive cultural experiences.

🕔 Date & Time: Saturday, May 30· 5:30 –8:30 PM (Doors open at 5:20 PM)
📍 Location: Little Five Points Community Center 1083 Auston Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 3037

Info: Discover Nanna's story a Sudanese mother who sold food to support her children, inspiring Nanna's Cuisine, where each dish honors her Mohammed credits her mother as the foundation of her understanding of resilience. A successful entrepreneur, devoted mother, and natural leader, her mother consistently led by example. Despite facing significant personal and professional challenges, she remained strong, compassionate, and unwavering in her commitment to her family’s well-being.Her mother’s mission was clear: to provide her children with the best education and quality of life, regardless of the obstacles. Her determination and grace under pressure deeply influenced Ikhlas, teaching her that resilience is not just about enduring hardship, it’s about growing through it. As an immigrant in the U.S., Ikhlas has drawn on these lessons to overcome her own challenges, guided by the values of self-discipline, lifelong learning, and purposeful acti
