Eleven years. Ninety-one chapters. One pier.This year, Belmont Pier closes its doors for a multi-year remodel — and with it, the stretch of concrete and ocean air that became the unlikely home for one of LA’s most enduring underground gatherings. This season, we dance knowing it’s the last.
For this edition, we’re keeping it exactly where it all started: close to the people who built this. The Friends & Family Edition is made of the relationships, late-night conversations, and shared memories that turned a dance floor at the end of a pier into something that mattered.
Joining Subtract founder Anton Tumas are two artists who’ve been woven into the DNA of this community for years — DAVI and Ray Kash, underground LA legends and longtime friends of the family. No spectacle, no hype — just three selectors with deep history and deeper crates, guiding a day that’s meant to feel like coming home.
Spring also means we return to summer hours — 2pm to 10pm — more golden light, more ocean breeze, more room to settle into the kind of slow-burning Sunday that only happens at the end of this pier.
To honor the community that carried Subtract into its 11th season, we’re releasing a limited batch of $11 Friends & Family early bird tickets. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
