About this Event
This presentation explores the critical role substance misuse prevention can play when working with youth with identified ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences). Providing substance misuse prevention services to youth with ACES, can help the youth develop protective factors that may prevent them from engaging in substance misuse to cope with their situation. This presentation highlights who to partner with to ensure success for youth, and how to start conversations. Participants should come away with a basic understanding and game plan for how to move forward.
