Studio Dumbar/DEPT

Studio Dumbar/DEPT® is an international agency with a Dutch heritage, specialising in identity, motion, creative coding and sound. They work for a variety of clients both large and small – from business and government to cultural and non-profit.

Projects span from Instagram motion identity, the Dutch Railways visual identity, Utah Jazz motion language, the refresh of the Van Gogh museum identity to initiating and designing DEMO, the largest design in motion festival in the world.

Liza is Partner and Creative Director at Studio Dumbar/DEPT®
Liza is directly involved with all main projects such as the Instagram motion identity, D&AD Creativity festival, brand refresh of the van Gogh Museum and DEMO - Design in Motion Festival.

In 2004 Liza co-founded and co-hosts Typeradio.org a podcast on type and design. As of 2018 she has been elected member into the prestigious design association AGI, Alliance Graphique Internationale. And since 2021 is part of the D&AD Board of trustees - the Design and Advertising Association in the UK.

Wouter is Partner and Business Director at Studio Dumbar/DEPT® He oversees all new business and is responsible for all major accounts such as OpenAI, Meta, Apple and D&AD and Van Gogh; and also takes on all operations and finance for the studio.In his spare time, Wouter jumps out of airplanes.
