A celebration and viewing of student project work made by incorporating original observations from wild nature into creative outlets. This event is fun and a great learning experience for all, whether you have children in Kestrel programs or are just an adult with an in interest in nature.
Meander through exhibits featuring field guides, maps, videos, and sculptures made by scientists in first grade through high school. Stop and chat with some of the makers of the work.
In addition to the exhibits, we will have many snacks, a campfire with s'mores roasting, wilderness fire making demonstrations, a wildlife tracking bandana making activity, and a nature walk.
Presentations by a few of our young scientists at 5pm.
Everything is free. Pre register in order to receive updates.
