Stroud Half Marathon is back on Sunday 26th October 2025. ENTRIES OPEN 3rd MARCH 2025 at 17:00
Stroud Half is one of the UK's longest-established half marathons with an incredible atmosphere and electric finish line.
Although not flat, the course is a great place for a fast time. Suitable for racers, recreational runners and novices alike.

RACE DETAILS
The race starts and finishes on the Cainscross Road, adjacent to Marling School field.
Free car parks are situated around Stroud. Maximum walk time is approximately 10-15 minutes. Sat Nav postcodes, Cheapside Carpark (by Station) – GL5 3BL, Cainscross Carpark – GL5 4JQ, London Road – GL5 2AP. There is NO parking available at Marling School (Race Start or Finish)

ROAD CLOSURES
Some roads around the route will be closed for the safety of runners and volunteer marshals. Details of the road closures will be released nearer the time of the event for residents.
MEDALS
In 2025, we will be providing all finishers with top class, metal medals supplied from within Great Britain. The design will be available for all to see very soon.
WATER STATIONS
This year we will be providing water stations with cups for all. The cups will be fully recyclable and will make their way to the recycling centre after the race.
