This massive lineup can only mean one thing: a night of top tier sound system music at The Subs!Don Letts’ reputation has been firmly established in both the film and music world by a substantial body of work from the late 70's through the 80's, 90’s and well into the millennium. His work has been exhibited in The Kitchen N.Y.C, The Institute of Contemporary Art, The N.F.T in London and was honored at Brooklyn’s BAM festival and The Milan Film festival. In March 2003 he won a Grammy for his documentary ‘Westway To The World’.
With this powerful collaboration in full swing, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Dub Princess and Hotsteppas. The duo have a string of exciting releases lined up, beginning with a brand new single dropping in May, complete with a heavyweight dub mix from the legendary Nick Manasseh. June will see the release of a genre-defying EP, weaving Indian classical influences into a deep dub foundation, featuring the talented Atilla Manju. Then, in October, fans can look forward to another highly anticipated EP—an exploration of roots and future sounds—which will be accompanied by a celebratory tour across the UK and Europe. Each release showcases their evolving sound and commitment to pushing boundaries, while staying rooted in the conscious messages that have always been at the heart of their music.
