Our next local history afternoon will take place on Saturday 25th October, from 2.30pm-4.30pm, at Eastcombe Village Hall.This will be a drop in exhibition type event (no slideshows) where the focus will be people & houses in Eastcombe & Bismore.
The censuses (1841 onwards) & many of the electoral rolls (1887 onwards) will be available for you to look at, along with displays, profiles of local people & some house histories of village dwellings.
Refreshments will be available, with the opportunity to chat, watch footage of past village events, aerial shots of the village as it is now & to enjoy social (history!) time.
Admission is free - & all are welcome. 🙂
