About this Event
In celebration of the final weekend of both American Heart Month and Black History Month, I am thrilled to invite you and your communities to the StrongHER Heart and Soul Wellness Day. This special event is a collaboration between StrongHER and an incredible group of partners, including GOOD Projects DC, C3 Cares, Black Heart Association, DC Housing Authority, and DC Central Kitchen. Together, we are hosting a day of fun, fitness, and connection at The Envision Center in Southwest DC on Saturday, February 28th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Our goal is to foster a space of health and joy, offering FREE heart and health screenings and the opportunity to connect with various community vendors. I will personally be leading a fitness activity to kick things off, followed by free warm meals served at 12:30 PM.
