Sitar artist: Mehtab Ali Niazi

Mehtab Ali Niazi from the renowned Bhendi Bazar Gharana began his Sitar journey at age 4 under his father, Ustad Mohsin Ali Khan. Guided by his father and grandfather, Ustad Wazir Ali Qadri, Mehtab made his debut at 6 during Pandit Birju Maharaj’s birthday. Mentored by Padma Bhushan Pandit Rajan Sajan Mishra and Padma Shree Pandit Madhup Mudgal, Mehtab continues to excel in his quest to become an exceptional Sitar player. From a memorable debut, he went on to win the 1st prize at the Sangeet Natak Academy competition in 2016. His performances include engagements with the Bengal Foundation, Bhoomija Trust, Sankat Mochan, and a tribute to Ustad Allah Rakha Khan Sahab. In Mumbai, he performed alongside legends like Ustad Zakir Hussain Khan Sahab and Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma. Mehtab has garnered multiple accolades, including the Surjyotsna National Music Award and recognition as one of India Today’s Next 100 Achievers. He received the Shanmukhananda Fellowship Award multiple times and presented at India Today’s Conclave in 2023. His impact extends to the cover of Spotify's ECHO playlist, highlighting his unwavering commitment and exceptional talent in classical music.


Tabla artist: Khurram Ali Niazi

Khurram Ali Niazi was born into the esteemed Moradabad Bhendi Bazaar Gharana and also belongs to the Farrukhabad Gharana of Tabla. He also began his training under his father, Ustad Mohsin Ali Khan. He has accompanied his father and elder brother, Mehtab, in numerous Sitar concerts and collaborated with artists from diverse musical backgrounds.

Khurram started performing solo recitals from a young age and has participated in prestigious music festivals worldwide, including Vishnu Digambar Jayanthi, Guru Pooja of Ustad AllahRakha Khan, Swarit Foundation, Sankat Mochan, Swar Dharohar, and Music Alliance World Wide Foundation.

In 2016, he achieved 1st prize in the Sangeet Natak Academy Lucknow Music Competition. He was also awarded as the overall winner of the First Tabla Competition by KOR Institute of Music, Canada, in 2020.

In 2023, he performed at the Gurupurnima celebration of Ustad Allarakha Khan Sahab, showcasing his dedication to honoring musical traditions and legends.
