About this Event
We welcome back Artcinia favorites Natasha Colkett and Yoshihiko Nakano with the addition of Tess Varley and Justin Yoder to present String Quartets from Classical Vienna to Latin America. Journey through diverse periods and styles from the elegance of Haydn, the “father of the string quartet,” to Mendelssohn’s passionate romanticism, concluding with two lively, dance-inspired works influenced by Cuban son and Argentinian tango.

About the Performers:
All four artists are active members of Philadelphia's vibrant music scene. Natasha, Tess, and Yoshihiko perform regularly with the Philadelphia Ballet, Opera Philadelphia, and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, while Justin is a frequent collaborator with the region’s leading theater companies, most recently appearing in Pig Iron Theater’s Poor Judge.
