This educational activity focuses on strengthening professional wellbeing in today’s high stress healthcare environment. Participants will explore current evidence on burnout, moral distress, and the organizational factors influencing workforce fatigue. The session emphasizes practical, actionable strategies that clinicians, leaders, and educators can implement immediately to support sustainable wellbeing.
Through guided discussion, interactive reflection, and application-based exercises, learners will examine the role of emotional intelligence, communication effectiveness, and psychological safety in shaping team culture. Participants will also be introduced to tools for monitoring personal and team burnout indicators, resilience skills, and micro practices that protect mental and emotional health. By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with realistic, adaptable approaches that promote healthier work environments and improve both individual and team performance.

Objectives
At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify key personal, organizational, and systemic contributors to burnout across healthcare roles.
- Differentiate between stress, moral distress, and burnout using current evidence‑based frameworks.
- Apply at least three practical resilience‑building strategies that support sustained well‑being.
- Demonstrate communication approaches rooted in emotional intelligence to improve team dynamics and psychological safety.
- Evaluate tools for self‑assessment of stress, workload, and well‑being to incorporate into daily practice.
- Develop a personalized or team-based well‑being action plan using the models presented.
Participants can earn 2.0 contact hours of nursing continuing professional development credit. Each nursing participant must be present for the entire session and must complete an evaluation of the session to receive credit.
