About this Event

Street Theory Sounds is a collaborative sonic series presented by Street Theory Gallery & Collective in partnership with Central On Air. Designed as an immersive listening experience, the series invites community into sound as a form of storytelling—where music, memory, and culture intersect inside our living room gallery space.

This iteration of Street Theory Sounds is dedicated to the Art of Sampling —where past and present meet through sound. From flipped soul records to reworked rhythms, sampling carries history forward while creating something new. This evening is an invitation to listen deeper—honoring the source while embracing its evolution.

Sounds for the evening will be provided by DJ BROWN13 of Soul Assassins Radio—an underground mainstay known for his work as a DJ, producer, and vinyl digger. Join us for a special set from 6–9 PM. Expect an intentional listening experience rooted in discovery, connection, and a deeper appreciation for the craft behind the music.
