About this Event
Register for a virtual Introduction to Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) session on Wednesday, April 1, at 11:30 am ET with VTS@Work-certified facilitator Josephine Holmboe. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding and comfort with utilizing VTS in the workplace and in their leadership practice.
Visual Thinking Strategies is an inquiry-driven discussion methodology that uses visual stimuli to encourage participants to develop critical thinking, observation, and language skills. By analyzing visual images in groups, participants learn to support their ideas with evidence, listen to others, and consider multiple perspectives.
In this 90-minute session, facilitator Josephine Holmboe will guide attendees by introducing VTS elements such as active listening, finding comfort with uncertainty, and creating an attentive, open, and inclusive space for all to contribute.
Introduction to Visual Thinking Strategies is not just for design and creative professionals. VTS has proven value across industries, from business to healthcare and education. It is a skill that helps leaders move away from a “command and control” approach to unlock their team’s collective potential by fostering inclusivity, psychological safety, and collaboration in the workplace. Teams that practice VTS are better equipped to respond to projects, peers, or clients in critical work conversations with understanding and intention.
This session is limited to 16 registrants.
