About Street Beat Brass
As seen on ABC’s Good Morning America and over a dozen other TV appearances. Street Beat has toured internationally for the US State Department, opened for the New York Philharmonic, played at every NYC Five Boro Bike Tour since 2015, and at every Kentucky Derby since 2019 (skipping 2020 for covid). Lead by New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Fellow Jeff Fairbanks, this strolling brass band plays a diverse range of music, from New Orleans Jazz and NoLaFunk to Latin Jazz, Pop, Polka, Gospel, and Klezmer. Formed in 2012, the band has performed at nearly 250 different venues, with clientele including over 150 corporations and over 40 event/branding companies. It has been honored to perform at events headlined by the likes of Jim Gaffigan, Seth Rogen, Michael Strahan and more.
Street Beat's second album, "Down the Block", will soon be released by Big Sky Press. It's first album "Get in the Beat" (Big Sky Press) was released in 2018, and is available online at all major outlets.
