About this Event

The Society of Computers & Law, in partnership with , warmly invites you to our forthcoming in-person event in the What Every In-House Lawyer Should Know” series: “Strategic Tech Contracting Uncovered: Real-World Perspectives from Legal, Business, and Technology Leaders”.

Join us for an engaging panel discussion featuring lawyers, business professionals, and technology experts, as we delve into the practical realities behind building effective strategic contracts.

With a focus on IT projects and transactions where technology plays a pivotal role – be it standalone technology arrangements, M&A transactions, or broader outsourcing agreements – our panellists, including Clifford Chance, Deloitte and more to be confirmed, will unpack key stages such as migration, knowledge transfer, licensing, and governance, as well as touching upon areas such as data aspects from a practical perspective, what really is happening behind the scenes when there is an unplanned for termination, exit, and more.

This session offers a rare “behind the scenes” perspective, sharing first-hand insights from across the legal, business, and technology landscape. Together, we will consider how cross-functional teams can deliver contracts that are genuinely fit for purpose in today’s increasingly complex technology, M&A, and business environment.

We hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be an insightful and practical discussion.
