Join us as we uncover stories of place and intertwine them with the brilliance of the Matariki stars/whetū. Explore the art of storytelling and our connection to nature as we craft stars and share tales. Our adventure begins with a hĪkoi through the park ngāhere, linking ourselves with a string to symbolise our collective journey. Along the way, we'll gather natural treasures to weave into our narrative. Returning, we'll use these treasures to craft the nine whetū, weaving in layers of colour to reflect their story. Come, let's celebrate the magic of Matariki through storytelling and creativity!
