About this Event
In this workshop, parents will understand that meltdowns and aggressive behaviors are often signs of being overwhelmed, “not bad behavior.” Families will learn how to recognize triggers before escalation happens, including sensory overload, transitions, communication breakdowns, and environmental stressors that are commonly missed. Through real life- experiences and practical strategies, parents will gain tools to reduce daily chaos, improve communication, and create more predictable, supportive environments at home and in public. We will also break down the difference between tantrums and true nervous system meltdowns, assisting families with responding with clarity instead of confusions or guilts. This is intended to provide a different perspective for parents.
