An update session for current Stop Smoking Advisers in Swindon
About this Event

This event is for:

• Those who completed their training within the last 6 months and would like some additional input to deliver stop smoking support within their workplace

• An annual update as part of delivering a Stop Smoking Service in Swindon

• Those requiring refresher training

Best Practice Events cover a range of topics that may include:

• nicotine addiction

• pharmacotherapy

• supporting behaviour change

• delivering a stop smoking service

• carbon monoxide monitoring

• case studies

• electronic cigarettes

The training will be facilitated by one of our Public Health Specialists. If you have a case study that you would like to bring along for discussion then please let us know.

The event is free of charge. It is available for anyone who has completed the Swindon Stop Smoking Practitioner training and is able to deliver a stop smoking service in Swindon.

Please note that this event will be delivered remotely through Microsoft Teams. All attendees are encouraged to use video call facilities to join to improve the interactive nature of the training. A link will be sent out closer to the time of the session so make sure the email address you have provided is accessed before the session.
