Stitching Strength | ALS Documentary Screening

This evening will feature an inspiring new documentary about the work of Dr. Rick Bedlack, Director of the Duke ALS Clinic, whose passion for fashion and resolute hope animate his care for ALS patients and his quest to find a cure for this devastating disease. The documentary features the work of Nashville fashion designer Manuel Cuevas, as well as interviews with a number of Bedlack’s patients, including John Driskell Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band and Joe Ananias of St. George’s Episcopal Church. Cuevas, Hopkins, and Ananias will join Dr. Bedlack after the screening for conversation and Q&A around ALS and the cultivation of hope.
