Still Life Textile Collage at Red House Museum and Gardens

Join Stanpit Collage Club and local textile artist Sarah Appleton for a relaxed and creative workshop where you’ll make a beautiful still life collage!

Using an inspiring mix of upcycled fabric scraps, threads, and tactile materials, participants can learn simple techniques to layer, stitch, and build expressive textile art. With plenty of guidance for your project, everyone will leave with a unique piece of art and a renewed joy for making by hand, plus the skills to keep creating at home.

Materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring an image to work from if you prefer.

No experience needed; just bring your curiosity and get ready for a fun, hands‑on session that leaves you buzzing with ideas and proud of what you’ve made.

Venue: Courtyard Room, ground floor of Red House Museum and Gardens. Please ask at reception for directions.
