About this Event
Join us for a calm and welcoming afternoon for maternity healthcare professionals.
We’ll begin with a free, nourishing lunch on arrival, giving you space to settle in and connect with other colleagues who understand the unique challenges of your role.
This hands-on workshop will be led by ceramic artist Simge Vurtak and will explore a simple question: What does care look like? Using clay, you’ll be invited to think about how care feels in your life and work, how it can support, comfort, or sometimes feel challenging.
You don’t need any experience with art or clay. We’ll guide you step by step, starting with some easy, relaxed warm-up activities to help you feel comfortable and get started. There’s no right or wrong way to do this, and no pressure to make anything perfect, this is about taking time to reflect and try something new.
Working with your hands can be a gentle way to slow down and think differently, helping you connect with your own experiences of caring, for yourself and for others.
