Still are an anguished and unorthodox blackened hardcore band from the shores of Hull. Bloodcurdling, sludgy heaviness meets the frantic blasts of dissonant black metal. Their new album "A Theft" (Floodlit Recordings) is an uncompromising statement of intent that stands to tear a strip through the UK underground. This is cutting edge extreme music delivered with raw passion and emotional ferocity. As Echoes and Dust report, this is ' a miserably beautiful piece of work which puts the band high in the ranks of the finest blackened post-hardcore available today.'
Acceptance (formerly Fatalist) are existentially harrowing, atmospheric black metal catharsis from Leeds. Coming into these dates with the, as yet unannounced, release of their new album "Crucifixion of Orchids" expect a visceral and overwhelming wall of sound.
Support - Omvors Combining ethereal and evocative melodies with waves of heavy guitar-driven riffs, Omvros are the calm before the storm and the moment that it hits. As an instrumental four-piece, they bring together left of the centre post-metal with progressive inflections of math rock, providing an unpredictable yet comforting sonic experience.
