About this Event
Join us for a fun and fulfilling day of giving back to our natural environment at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge! Engage in hands-on activities to help maintain and improve the wildlife habitat. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or just looking for a way to make a positive impact, this in-person event is perfect for all ages and skill levels. Connect with nature, contribute to your local national wildlife refuge, and gain the benefits of engaging in physical activity!
This May stewardship event will focus in enhancing native plant habitats by removing invasive weeds. Come and learn about the importance of native plant communities for wildlife and methods to help them thrive. Be part of the solution as a W**d-warrior! Come prepared with comfortable clothing, sun protection, sturdy shoes, and a reusable water bottle. We'll provide all the necessary tools and guidance for a rewarding experience. We just ask you to bring your own gloves! Don't miss out on this chance to give back to our community and enjoy the beauty of nature!
