STEVE GUNN (USA)
Steve Gunn has been at the vanguard of American experimental and guitar-oriented rock music for over a decade. Last year Gunn released the acclaimed "Daylight Daylight", his first studio album in four years.
Spanning a wide range of collaborations and influences, Gunn’s career includes a rich body of solo, duo, and ensemble recordings on labels such as Three Lobed Recordings, Paradise of Bachelors, and RVNG. His work continues to mark major milestones in contemporary guitar music and innovative songwriting. Even after more than a decade, Gunn is still moving along, shaping his influences into a unique and ever-evolving output.
JEAN RAMSAY
Jean Ramsay is a singer-songwriter from Vantaa whom a niche audience may remember from the band The Spoonshiners and Liimanarina’s Dylan project, LiimDYLanarina. Those of an older generation may recall him as a critic and journalist who wrote for Rumba, Rytmi, and Soundi.
After retreating to the backwoods of Sotunki during the pandemic, Ramsay began churning out solo material steeped in the fear of death, with roots deeply embedded in the dark soil of British folk and the swampy mud of country blues.
From this material, he released the EP “Snowblind” in April 2024. His debut album “Between The Briar and the Rose” followed the next April.
Ramsay is currently working on his second album with The Tollund Trio. Upcoming shows will feature previously unreleased material from the upcoming album.
