Join us at Blackheath High School, the award-winning independent school for girls aged 3-18, as we help Chicken Licken and his hilarious friends uncover the truth about whether the sky really is falling in or whether it could be a giant Easter Egg.... Will he make it to Buckingham Palace to tell the king? Or will the naughty fox’s fowl play spoil his plans?!
This thrilling immersive theatre production has been written and created specially for preschool aged children by our talented team. Little ones will love joining in with the music, dancing and cheering on our heroic chicken on his adventure.
After the show, children can create some farmyard inspired art and enjoy a range of delicious snacks.
Suitable for ages 2 + and their families
Chicken Licken will take place in our Senior School Theatre in Vanbrugh Park - we have two sites so please make sure you come to the right one!
The important stuff:
- Every child and accompanying adult requires their own ticket. To ensure as many children as possible can attend, we ask families to book a maximum of two adult tickets.
- Doors open at 9.30am for a show start at 10am. Please be on time for the start of the show to avoid disruption. We cannot admit latecomers.
- Running time 50 minutes, quiet spaces available
Booking is essential and spaces are limited. We expect this event to be popular, so please, if you book tickets and are unable to make it, we would request that you cancel them so we can offer them to other guests.

While parking is available in local streets, we advise you to check the Greenwich LTN map for driving restrictions. Our school is very well served by mainline trains and buses – please check TFL for more details.
By train: The nearest railway station is Westcombe Park, which is served by trains from St Pancras International, Farringdon, City Thameslink, Blackfriars, Waterloo East, Cannon Street, London Bridge, London Charing Cross and Dartford.
By Docklands Light Railway (DLR): The nearest DLR stations are Greenwich (at Greenwich Railway Station) and Cutty Sark (for Maritime Greenwich).
By bus: Bus routes 53, 54, 108, 202, 286, 380 and 386 all stop nearby.
